Before you say anything, I already know that I am quite possibly the very last person on the face of planet Earth to finally get around to trying the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette, but let's just set that aside for now.
Since I already own the other Naked palettes, I didn't think Urban Decay would be able to come out with another palette that was tempting enough for me to spend my coins on, but I was so wrong! When the initial promo pics were released for this palette, my immediate reaction was "I NEED THAT!" Not that I actually needed it because of course I already have loads of warm eyeshadow palettes, but I still needed it...you know?!
So, today, I've gone ahead and swatched this beauty for you guys against my medium, olive skin. Shadows were swatched from left to right, beginning with 'Ounce' and ending with 'Ember" and as always, the photos of my swatches have not been edited or retouched in any capacity. I did, however, have to take them using artificial lighting- I used my "daylight" bulb to compensate for the fact that natural daylight was not available to me at the hour.

So far, from simply swatching the shadows, most of the mattes felt extremely smooth, with 'En Fuego' and 'Ashes' not having the same buttery feel as the others (they were only slightly less smooth than the rest...). The shimmer shadows all swatched beautifully, without any patchiness or chunkiness. I also think the first 4 shadows- Ounce, Chaser, Sauced & Low Blow, look quite ashy against my skin, so I can see how this palette was perceived the way it was, when swatched on deeper skin tones. But it truly boils down to how these eyeshadows perform on the lid.
