Affordable Pop of Colour

August 6, 2016

Hi dolls! Today I have a makeup look for you guys, but it's a bit different from anything I've posted before. I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone and I want to start incorporating some more vibrant colours that I typically wouldn't necessarily sport.

I've been itching to use some gorgeous yellow tones I had laying around, so I finally got around to playing with them, and this is what I came up with. For some reason, I thought adding a pop of purple on the lower lash line seemed like an appropriate thing to do, so I just went for it. As always, there's also a tutorial I linked at the very end of this post showing you exactly how I managed to slap everything on, so be sure to check that out! :) And as a little side note because the palettes I used don't contain individual names of the shadows, I included a screenshot of both palettes so you know exactly which shades I used. Colours used in the crease are labelled "C", those on the lid have an "L" over them, and the shade on my lower lash line is marked with a "LL".

I hope you guys find this helpful!
xoxo
